With the collaboration between Bugatti and the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (KPM) in Berlin, Bugatti sets new standards in the design of its automotive art. The “L’Or Blanc” had its world premier at an exclusive unveiling at the KPM factory grounds on 30 June 2011 in Berlin, Germany. As the world’s first, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport is one of a kind, with the body and the interior fitted with elements of high quality porcelain and boasts an abstract artistic exterior design.

The final Bugatti Veyron has now been ordered by a European customer, marking an end to the triumphant reign of the supercar with an exclusive production run of 300 models and its even faster cousin the Super Sport. The coupé versions of the Veyron are worthy successors to the heritage of classic Bugattis, now collector’s items of unparalleled status and optimum appreciation, which today are amongst the most valuable cars in existence.
But the story of Bugatti’s exceptional sports car is set to continue. The Grand Sport, a supercar with the very highest technical specifications, remains available to automotive connoisseurs. In its closed-top incarnation with a transparent roof it reaches top speeds of 407 km/h; with the roof removed a maximum speed of 360 km/h makes the Grand Sport the fastest convertible in the world.

At the annual award ceremony in a London restaurant Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond presented the Top Gear Awards 2010. The third of the presenting team, James May, who actually picked the Bugatti Veyron 16.4. Super Sport as his “Car of the Year” was tied up in a filming session in the United States. May had driven his own personal record of 417 km/h with the Super Sport on the same day when Pierre Henri Raphanel, Bugatti’s Pilote Officiel achieved landspeed record of 431 km/h in June 2010.
